Add the Sauces
Add the Garlic Chili Crunch flakes, mango chili sauce, rice vinegar, and sweet chili sauce. Keep the heat on low — these sauces will burn quickly on high. Stir everything together and let it cook for about 1 minute. Add the 2 spoonfuls of pasta water and the brown sugar. Stir to combine into a glossy, fragrant sauce.
6 Add Shrimp Back In
Add the shrimp back into the pan and toss to coat in the sauce. Work quickly here — shrimp finish cooking fast. Stir until every shrimp is fully coated and cooked through, about 1–2 minutes more.
7 Toss with Fettuccine and Serve
Drain the fettuccine (al dente — don't overcook it) and add it directly to the pan. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce. Top generously with fresh cilantro, toss once more, and serve immediately.

Hafsa's Tips
- The Bamba Italian pepper sauce is no joke — start with ½ tsp, taste, then decide if your family can handle more. Hafsa uses 2 tsp. You've been warned.
- Pull the shrimp early — 50–75% cooked before you set them aside. They finish in the sauce. Overcooked shrimp are rubbery and there's no coming back from that.
- The National Mango Chili Sauce from your local Pakistani or desi grocery store is the secret ingredient here. If you can't find it, double the sweet chili sauce — it's a solid sub but the mango version has a unique depth worth seeking out.
- Kinder Spicy Garlic Crunch from Costco is one of Hafsa's most-used seasonings — it shows up in multiple recipes and the big Costco box is worth every penny.
- Reserve your pasta water before draining. That starchy water is what helps the sauce cling to the fettuccine — don't skip it.
- Watch the TikTok video before making this the first time — seeing how the marinade coats the shrimp really helps.
